Thank you for agreeing to participate in this survey. This project has been developed to test how doctors review patient case notes when conducting audits and retrospective analysis of healthcare.
For the purposes of this exercise, you can assume that you have been asked to review a random selection of case notes as part of a hospital’s clinical governance processes. Your task is to review the information available and to form a judgement as to the quality of admission care the patients’ received.
Unfortunately all the staff involved in the care of the patient have left and are not available to provide further information! You will need to form your opinion from the case notes provided alone.
You will be presented with three fictional short case vignettes. For each, you are asked to assess the admission care provided to the patient in the description on a scale of 1 (very poor) to 5 (excellent care).
